First time I've had it out all year. Hunting season is a few months away, thought I'd start getting in some practice.

Gun is a stainless steel SRH .44mag, 9 1/2" barrel with a 2x6 scope. Load is a Hornady 240gr HP-XTP, Remington cases, CCI LP Magnum primers and 24.0gr of H-110. Shot from a rest at a SR-1 target (normally used for high power matches) at 100 yards. Not too bad.......need to get rid of those flyers though. Groups will be better come hunting season.

Another target. Still with a few flyers......even noticed they pretty much were in the same spots too.

Very nice! That's about as good as I can get with my 12" barreled .44 mag Contender! (I load similar, 240 XTP, 23 grain H110) 4x scope.
