I think it only fires blanks, but does anyone want to calculate the muzzle energy if it fired a bullet? And will it stop a charging cockroach?

Dixie Gun Works sells a single shot .177 powered by a primer. There's an article on it in the most recent issue of Backwoodsman. Looks kinda interesting, if worthless.
