I've fired and traded my way around thru several different guns here lately. I'm finally back to a .40 S&W. I was looking for some bulk ammo and noticed Cabela's had 1200 CNL rounds for like $289 or something silly like that. They have brass casings, so I wasn't concerned there, but there appreared to be no jacket on them if that makes any sense, they look kind of like the Winchester SXZ rounds. I'm just curious if any of you have used this type of ammo for plinking and such. I have plenty of home defense rounds so I'm just looking for some decent "F" around ammo and wondered if these rounds are good for that kind of application in my PX4.
