Off my rocker.....

I lost my mind at the gunshop yesterday.
Out of the bottom of one of the display cabinets came a sultry, eastern European voice that said, 'hey big boy, why don't you have the man with the keys get me out of here. I look much more lovely in the light....??!!!' I began to wonder about the type of mushrooms I had eaten earlier, then realized that no other voices were speaking, just this one.
She addressed me again, this time more urgently....'please mister, I don't wanna spend another lonely night cooped up in this case with vulgar Austrians, Hungarians, Bulgarians and their ilk...
I'm not like them, I swear...be a real hero and take me home.!!!!!' I began to check the expiration date on my Prozac when I saw where the voice was coming from...a NIB CZ75B calling my name, beckoning me to make her mine forever.
I looked closer...a ransom of only $375.00 and I could take her away from her gunshop hell.....
Long story short, we came home today along with extra mag and 150 rounds of ammo. A range report will follow where we'll see if we'll live happily ever after. ;)

LOL, you may well be nuts but that CZ 75 is one hell of a pistol for the money. I have NEVER seen more gun for the money.

Yeah, it's like having a piece of apple skin between your teeth, and you try to ignore it but you just have to keep picking at it until comes out or it drives you crazy.
I remember buying my CZ. :D

Well, sit down and take your PROZAC..because it only gets worse from here :neener:
My CZ'itis started years ago..when a CZ83 in .380 gave me the same line....."Hey....wallet....no, not you keys...you stay out of this and shut up"...."Wallet...come on out and help me out of this place".......
The first week I had it..with less than 200 rnds through it, it Ransum Rested @ 1.9" at 25 yds with 5 rnds. Lets just say the group that saw this, with their high end 1911's and Sigs, were like this :what: !
From then to now its been over a dozen CZ's...all calibers, shapes, sizes....
THEY MADE ME START MAKING HOLSTERS and THANK GOD THEY DID :D lol
Welcome to the club.....check out the CZForum for lots of good stuff.........
We are officially affiliated with CZUSA now......but not finincially sponsored by them. Its rare that an OEM links their web site to a forum............
That says alot about the Forum, Distrubutor and the guns themselves.
Denfoote,
You need to have new hands transplanted
Shoot well...............If you need a holster....look me up.

Congrats! I got my 75B a couple weeks ago, and I love it! Only have 200 rounds through it, and the IDPA match last weekend got cancelled, but I already LOVE this pistol! Like someone said, you can't get more pistol for the money. Prices went up this year, but they're still a steal at less than $400.
Go out and shoot the crap out of it. Give us a range report!

The CZ was/is a most excellant 9m/m!!
My experience is limited to 500 rounds through one...but it was very reliable and VERY accurate...decent sights and trigger, cocked and locked or DA options. Fit pretty nice, high cap mags are fairly cheap. Nice Nine!!
If I was working overseas and required a Nine for ammo availability...the CZ would be my choice......
Most of my voices come from Colt 1911's though!

I have several guns but only two have names. CZ's are just CZexy! Eva is her name. Dressed in Black and naked where it counts. I dressed mine in Hogue wrap arounds.
You can really develop an unhealthy realtionship with them. I sleep with mine. She watches TV with me. We enjoy the outdoors together. My friends seem to like her too but I tell them to get thier own dates.
After all these years together I still can't keep my hands off her.
ENJOY!

I've been so enamored with my CZ-97 that I want to learn to speak Czech. :D

Mine started with a CZ-75BD 9mm. Then it was a -75B in .40 S&W. Then a CZ-550 Varmint in .22-250. A PCR followed me home next. I added a CZ-83 .380 a few weeks ago. Last week it was a .22 Training Rifle. Just have your pay check forwarded to your local gun shop. All resistance is futile. You have been assemilated.
You can pay more money for a firearm but you won't get get more firearm for your money. :D

I admit, I also fell for a sleek, dark, eastern European beauty of a CZ-75B. She was my first centerfire pistol and oh what wonders she has opened my eyes to. She will always be my favorite.
Come to think of it I haven't had the lady out for a playful romp at the range in a while. I'll have to make it up to her this weekend.

I love my CZ 75B. Very accurate, reliable, well made yet it is inexpensive. Great gun. This gun lead my best friend to get a CZ 85 Combat as his first gun, and he had been completely set on a Kimber before he shot my CZ (he now has the Kimber Target II in stainless, nearly a $1K gun at local prices, and he seems to like the CZ better).
I liked it so much that I then bought a CZ 40B. I did end up selling it since it wasn't as good as my 75, but I probably shouldn't have (it was pretty accurate and very reliable). I will be getting more in the future (definately a .22 rifle, probably a .223 and/or .308 rifle, a 75 Compact or used PCR, another 75 in nickel this time, either the 75SA or 85 Combat and probably the 97B, also a small chance that I'll get the 100- of course this will be over a bit of time before I'll acquire all of these).
If you like your CZ now, you really owe it to yourself to pick up a pair of Hakan grips. They will make the gun even better. Mine looks wonderful with the grips. My buddy liked them enough that he got a pair (in a different wood of course) for his 85 Combat.
