Not me, their main application is CAS where I shoot a double gun. Search on "lever shotgun" on the SASS Wire and you will find some users.

Several of the shooters in our SASS group use them. Once you get used to the way they load, they're about as fast as a double barrel. The biggest drawback is if you don't get the loading down just right, it won't feed.
I prefer my 1897 Winchesters myself.
Hope this helps.

I shoot a '87 pretty regular. It is an original made in 1897. The originals are chambered for 2 1/2 so you will have to shorten your shells or have it throated. Some will replace the barrel with a 1897 non-take down. being 1897 it is BP only. the new chineses one's will shoot anything. I've shot them and they are 'ok' but seem a bit ruffer in the action and lighter.
the spin cock you see on terminater is pure holywood, you will bust your wrist or your nose. loading fast takes practice but you can load two up as fast as most 1897 shooters. they are very nice to shoot and have good pointing, but a long action.
hope this helps.
