I love when newscasters use hyperbole, like "razor sharp tusks".
Did he think he could shave with one?

I'm complaining about not having good hog hunting land and they are complaining about having hogs trot into their front yard and "hang out at the bird feeder"
sheesh
Bow+arrow+hog = Barbeque
Due to the neighborhood and local ordinances, I'd probably switch to Bow. Rifle might be illegal in residential area. I bet no one would complain about the street party and barbeque later I bet. Give me a call residents! I'll even cook them for you!
Most people surprise me with all the whining when they have ample ability that God gave them to handle pretty much any situation handed to them. This one for sure... Strange how society beats the self sufficiency out of you!
Whine whine rather than shoot and dine!

Similar situation nere me. Sun City Hilton Head ( actually in bluffton, 12 miles from Hilton Head!) has frequent incursions by "feral pigs". they contract someone to come in and 'remove them'.
It makes the news just about two times a year as homeowners whine, and then the animal rights ninnies complain how cruel it is to kill them. "They were here first!".
That argument is fallacious. The wild pigs were introduced by hunt clubs, and are NOT native to the area. The only reason they are around this area is to be hunted.

I think that someone would have used their 22 by now to eradicate some of those pesky pigs. Great on the grill.

Must be immigrants from up North. Don't see how the pigs would have lived this long otherwise.

That's what I was thinking - talk about a 'dream home'.
I don't see the problem, really, that can't be solved by killing three birds with one stone (having fun, getting meat in the freezer, and causing them to move along or die). Let me see if I can help these urbanites by reviewing the basic algabraic formula applicable here, to help simplify it for them:
