I am looking for a pocket holster for a Taurus 605. I was interested in the Nemesis line by Desantis but they advised me that they do not have one for this gun. Anyone have any ideas? I was assuming a J frame holster would possibly work.

I use an Uncle Mike's or Mitka's for J frames and a Colt Magnum Carry,
although not all at the same time. I also have a generic leather model, unknown brand, that fits both.

I can carry a Taurus M85 in my Nemesis Desantis purchased for my S&W 340 PD (J frame). If the 605 is similar in size to the M85 it should work OK (the Nemesis isn't "form fitted," so would probably work for revolvers close in size).

The 605 has a 2 1/4in barrel, the 85 a 2 inch. I've owned both the 605 and Model 85 previously. Holsters for the J-frames didn't always work because Taurus models have an ejector shroud (J-frames don't). The J-frame holsters that I looked at were slightly different because of the shroud, and not interchangable(few years ago). Mayber there is something that will work for current models. Check out the Uncle Mike's line. They may make something generic (one size fits all) that would work for the 605. I settled for a Bianci inside the waist band. Both models concealed very well IWB.

Oh I forgot to mention that I think that many of the newer model Smith's have ejector shrouds, so it may be easier to find a pocket holster for your 605 than it was for me a few years back. Good luck.
