RAP401 and A-75 mags

Gents,
Any of you RAP401 owners tried the 10 round A-75 mags? I gave into a whim and ordered a RAP from Shawn today. You all seem so happy with them that it sounded like the answer to my want for a smaller CCW gun to use when I am not dressed to cover a 1911. Those 10 rounders might be neat for spare mags.

You will love this piece just break it in and it's a peach. Does he have any more left. I thought they were all gone.
What's he chargin for em now? just curious.
No experience with the 10rnd mags though.

From what I understand the 10 rounders will hang out the bottom a little. But still work fine.
My RAP is as Bevr said, a peach. It is a heavy little monkey, but a hell of a gun for the money...Well, assuming Shawn isnt trying to rob people for them now....I got one from him for about 200 bucks. Completely happy with it.

$255 shipped with 4 mags. Sounds pretty good to me given the extra mags and the fact he is including shipping. I may pick up a couple ten rounders after I try the gun out. I had been admiring the SA 9mm compact 1911, but this cost a heck of a lot less. If it runs 100% I will be quite happy with it.
Thanks guys!

Wow, that is still a great price.
Mine has ran 110% with absolutely everything I have put through it. Even handles +p well, which I do not recommend a steady diet of, but is what I carry in it.
I have put maybe 100 rounds of +P through it, with no signs of wear or peening. But Like I said, no gun deserves a steady diet of +P.

That is another question I meant to ask. I have some pretty zippy Speer ammo and would like to carry that. Good to know that it can handle the +P stuff. I tend to prefer larger calibers than 9mm, but Shawn didn't have the 440. If I can run the 401 hot enough I won't worry about it.

Speer +P hollowpoints are what I have put through mine, and what I carry in it. They work fine...just not for everyday shooting.
