Has anybody seen a folding stock for this take down rifle.
I have been pondering the idea of take the hacksaw to the stock but i am worried about the sturdiness of such a joint in the butt/stock due to the nature of the thin plastic molding of the factory made stock.:uhoh:

Has anyone seen an adjustable or a collapsible stock for the marlin papoose.

Why do i ask about this? Well i want to fit the gun in a little day bag when i go walking in the hills

Thanks lads for any help, dont forget that i'd be willing to send the stock to a gun smith if one was able to do a top class job

Careful you don't run afoul of the ATF 26" minimum length rule.

If it will fire with the stock folded, and measures less then 26" OAL, it is an NFA weapon.

The NFA overall length requirement is measured from the muzzle to the butt with the folding stock/collapsing stock in its furthermost open position.
