I went to the range with my Remington 1187 slug gun topped off with a Leupold 3x9 40mm Shotgun/muzzy rifleman scope. This was the first time i went with my new scope. I am shooting 2 3/4 inch lightfield slugs. Here are some pics of the sighting in process.

This pic is at 50 yards. First i centered it and then raised it about 2 inches.

This pic is 100 yards. I was very happy with the results.

Most of my shots in NJ are under 100 yards. I hunted the Mid west this year (Nov 2008) and had shots over 100 yards. I would like to get try some different slugs that shoot flatter out 150 yards or more. The lightfields have a significant drop after 100 yards.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Nice job. I like that shotgun! Did you get the forearm seperate from the butt stock? They dont look like they match, could just be the lighting but thats some nice wood on that forearm.
