I cant seem to find a Marlin 70p, So ...

Does anyone know anyone that sells a wood stock that fits the 70pss, or where I can find a 70p wood stock?

Plan B. I have an older Marlin 60, I compared that to the 70p it looks fairly close. If the fore end was shortened and a hole opened up for the magwell I think it would work, does anyone know a gunsmith can that do that?

You might try over at rimfirecentral. For a wood stock I think a Marlin model 70 stock would work with some mods in the barrel channel. :)
