Someone recently asked about .22LR squirrel hunting near Austin. I live in Dallas and have the exact same question about my area. I think the nearest WMA is Ray Roberts Lake, and I was told that only shotguns are allowed there.
Does anyone know of places around DFW where I can hunt with a .22 rifle?
