To jag or not (bore cleaning) ?

Should I use a jag for bore cleaning or just a patch puller?

I like using jag from breech end because it falls off instead of having to take it off or dragging the crud back down the barrel.

I use a jag exclusively in my match rifles. First time thru with Ed's Red to remove powder fouling, followed by Montana Extreme's copper solvent to remove copper fouling.
