It seems like the ole' "How did you come up with your screen name question?" comes up rather frequently especially when new members join.
Why not add a field in the profiles that would let a member give that information if they would like.
That way instead of browsing a thread with 400 some odd posts you just click the profile of said person.
Just a though.
