I am in the military and just got stationed in florida, i am not 21 but want to own a hand gun. I know there are ways to do it, like having a family member buy it or something like that. I want to know the exact ways to do it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks Nick

You can own a handgun in Florida at 18,but to acquire a CCW you have to be 21.See:

You cannot purchase from a dealer, nor can you have a relative do the purchase for you (that is a straw purchase). The only way to legally do it is to do a FTF buy.

You can have someone GIFT it to you... but meh. However, you can purchase long guns, no problem.

It's all settled!Nick,you are good to go.Private sellers at gun shows,local newspaper ads(some papers still list firearms)Shotgun News and Gun Lists magazines and online auction sites(Gun Broker,etc.) are places to find FTF sellers.
Just remember,it can't be an FFL and the seller must be a Florida resident like yourself.
