Are there any 1853 Enfileld repros that don't have "Blackpowder Only" visible on the barrel? Sorry but this is a big turn off for me. I have a couple of Uberti revolvers and they have the good taste to at least conceal this under the loading lever.

I ran across a web site for a gun smith in the mid-west that specialized in defrabing the repro Enfields. Unfortunately I did not book mark it. He removed all Italian manufacturing marks and re-stamped with original style Enfield marks. Wasn't cheap. Sure looked good.
Thats less than a Parker Hale repro and from what I can tell looks better too. Think I might just grab one. Which would be the better one Armisport or Euroarms?
