Anyone know where I can get a bullet trap that would work with larger caliber muzzle loading rifles? say 45-69 calibers? For the muzzleloading shotgun I have that part covered.

One of the simplest outdoor bullet trap designs would require a thick steel plate to be set at about 45+ degrees to deflect the bullet downward into the ground or into a layer of sand for recovery.
Most any welding shop can order the best, toughest steel plate for that application.

But I wonder if you're looking for something else that might need to be custom made?

Was thinking something that could be portable and also hold targets. Figured if we would trap the lead that would be less expense at the range to do ground work. Esp with pistols being variable distances.
