(Sorry if this is the wrong section, I wasn't too sure where to post.)
I was wondering if anyone has any information on Remington-Peters (R-P) black tipped ammo?
I've been searching for the past 30min. and cannot find anything on R-P (let alone Black Tips) - except that it's decent for reloading.

At first I thought I had Black Talon ammo, but then I realized it wasn't Winchester..

(I guess I should apologize in advance for the quality:p)

That's not a black tip, it is a lead soft-nosed hollow point (SN-HP).

It's a semi-jacketed hollow point. I always equate the SJHP with Remington 125 grain .357, one of the more aesthetically pleasing rounds in my eyes.

Ah. I was just about completely wrong:D

Thanks for the info!

Edit: I gotta admit, I feel kinda dumb. I didn't even think to go look through Remington ammo online. I just kept trying to use google.

That's a great round. Just as deadly as it is sexy.

Those bullets open up very well with that "rose peddle" design. Some of the older time tested designs have been pushed aside because of all the "new and better" stuff available on the market now. I buy the bullets 500 at a time and load them all the time because they work!
