No data I can find.
Just curious if anybody has tried or has seen data.
Wondering if you have enough room to get up to a reasonable velocity.

I haven't but do use it for 45LC. I think the reason there are no loads revolves around case size and loading density of said powder. In the past Ive had very good success directly emailing Hodgden w/ questions. They usually got back to me that day or the next. So, if you get no joy here then go to the source.

I've used it in 45lc, which it was designed for, and 45acp, where it worked quite well, but was much more expensive than other great powders. I used it all up and will probably not buy more unless get back into 45lc shooting.
I doubt that it would work for the 9mm very well. Especially with so many other great choices. I'm using Universal right now with 124 gr lrn from a ocal caster. Very nice.

That's got to be a bad mis-match, and one that I wouldn't experiment with.
By the time you got any real velocity you would be compressing the powder, and that's a big no no with Trail Boss.

If there's a mismatch in reloading, this is it.

Why not call IMR and talk to tech support? (913) 362-9455

Yup, Definately a better powder out there for Lead boolits and 9mm.
If your looking for light loads, try N320.

I use Trailboss for my .45acp loads, and I love it!!...However, I don't think it's a good idea for 9mm...I did alot of research, and I cannot find ANY load data for TB in the 9mm...just the wrong application...I will second the use of VV N320...Huge IDPA load where I am..a little expensive, but very worth it...soft, and cleeeeaaannn..none cleaner.

I doubt you could get enough TB in the case to work, and compressing TB is a no no according to IMR. (oops, I see that was already posted)
700X, AA #2, AA #5, N320, N330, N340, WSF, Unique, etc are all good choices.
700X, AA #2, and N320 will excel in light loads with lead bullets in 9MM.

Use Unique for a 9mm with lead boolits. I use 5.0 grains with a 125 grain Con. nose boolit. I have not cronographed them, but in my XD9 4" i get exceptional accuracy, and reliable ejection and feeding.
Use Unique.

Yep. Ordered 32lbs of Unique. Using it for everything now. Seems to work great in 9mm.
Did give up on cast bullets though.

Did a test using .38 data. Even for a mild loading, the case runneth over- big time.
