Just wondering if these dies have a taper or roll crimp.

Taper, as is 'proper' for 45 ACP. I roll crimp cast bullets that I use in my 45 ACP revolver, when I use 45 Auto Rim. The only 45 ACP roll crimp die that I know of is the RCBS.
