I just got a Taurus Model 606...with a 2 inch ported barrel and DAO...the gun is Stainless...I would like to know things about this model ...Taurus does not have it in their current catalog...it seem like a great little piece...trigger is smooth and not too heavy...it has a crisp break and lock up seems good...but before I decide to keep it I would like to know how they hold up in the long haul...Anybody have any experience with this little model...this is my first Taurus...I am usually a S&W or Colt man.

I had one a few years back,i bought it because i never had owned a ported gun before.I put a couple hundred rounds thru mine and didn't notice any real wear on mine,most of them were full power 357's along with some stiff reloads of mine.If it was not ported i might have kept it.
