There were a few threads closed today without any explanation.
Best Quotes from Gran Torino *SPOILERS*
England .... guns
"The Postman" - or, the value of a united, armed movement
Finally saw "Red Dawn"; Reactions & Question.
I can understand the first because it's a little too broad and vague for a gun-specific forum. But I don't really see why the others were closed. And I don't get why there was no explanation at all for it. I realize it is up to the moderators to close threads when they deem it appropriate to do so, but isn't it common practice for there to be an explanation as to WHY the thread was closed?
Particularly the Red Dawn thread. That's a classic gun movie and the majority of the conversation in the thread was indeed gun-related even if a few posts went off-topic. Why was it closed?
I realize that this thread itself will probably be closed eventually, and I don't have a problem with that, but I do hope that there will at least be an answer to my question.
