Looks like a good offer to me.....
It says it has been shot only little and is an early model.

If you are looking for an opinion, I agree with you that is a good prospect. The condition looks fine, the description sounds fine (from what I recall of my high school and university German, which is damn little, really). The price is very competitive based on ones I've seen in the past, but I've never really made a hard effort at buying a Korth. But I would look into that one if I were.

How in the world would you get it over to the US if you were to buy it?

There are some things in this world that are soo high end as not to be heard of, just like things being soo low end.

Korth's in revolvers rank up there with FAMARS or Purdey in shotguns.......meticulous in their manufacture, prohibitively expensive.....but like a rare bottle of Scotch or wine........worth it to a select few

and if I hit that damn powerball, I'll be one of them!......:what:

Very beautiful guns, but not sure I could ever justify paying that much for one (you could probably have a gun chiseled out of Gold with platinum trim and pay less :P). Then again, I'm cheap :D I mean thrifty!

As for the autos not sure I'd take one if they were giving them away for free. They make Glocks look like beauty queens next to them :D

I bought a Korth 4" .357 a few years ago for $2000. The following week, I sold it on GB for $3500. It was the best investment I made for a long time. Nice gun, but I didn't shoot mine.
The prettiest bluing I ever saw, and the tightest lockup.

I'm thrifty as well, but would a gold gun withstand modern cartridge pressures:)

so it went for like 2000$.... sounds like some here missed out on a good deal :)

Indeed it would be interesting to know how difficult it would be to export guns from here......

Due to harsh RKBA laws there are not as many people who simply collect historic stuff.... so great deals can be had on ww2 items.

I personally know of a guy, who has his Grandpas Luger, matching numbers, original Holster, and two original ammo packs.....
..and it΄s been on the eastern front from 1942-45

i bet it would be a good profit in exporting it.......

I've got one I've had for years, almost forgot I owned it.

I need to break it out and see what it's worth these days......
