I picked up a chinese coach this last weekend. It needs to have new forearm hardware. E-parts, brownells and Century were no help. Any ideas?

Look for IAS parts. (or whatever the initials are of the current importer of Chinese firearms often is now).

OK, IAC. You know, if they don't help it might be a thing to go back in numrich and see if they've got anything for a 1888 Colt, or whatever it's a copy of - chances are pretty good that parts would swap right in if it's a good copy.

I couldn't quite remember it. We had one of the coach guns for a while - very nice piece of work by them folks! It had exposed hammers and better stock walnut than I've seen on a low cost domestic gun in a long, long time. Think I paid $229. for it at a chain store and was very much impressed with it's quality of build and fit. On top of that it shot great too. I sold it to a cowboy action guy I know who HAD to have it after they were all gone from that store.

Something is very wrong with them being able to make such a nice gun and bring it all the way here to sell with everyone up the line presumably making enough profit to make it worth doing. The same gun would have cost over $700. if Remington made it.

Oh, was I getting political? Sorry.
