my brother owns savage auto pistol 1907 and i own savage auto pistol 1917. both are in excellent condition, the 1917 is mint. what is current value of these pistols. thanks for looking:):)

I'm sorry to disagree, but those guns have built a lot of collector interest in the past decade or so. With the caveat that I have not seen the guns, a truly mint (at least 98%) Model 1917 in .32 ACP should bring around $300-400 at retail, and the .380 ACP about $100 more.
The Model 1907 in that condition will run $100-150 more; there were more made, but fewer survive in top condition. One in average condition will come close to Haywood's $150-200 figure.
Remember, I am talking like new and retail prices, not what they would bring if sold to a dealer.

thanks jim, had no idea the 1917 is about 98% the 1907 is probably 90%; thanks for reply..
