Kbi 1911

What is a KBI 1911 and in good shape is it worth 300 dollars? Is this a Charles Daly? Where Is it made? Any help would be great. ( friend at work thinks I am some sort of gun guru. Little does he know I rely on you guys!);)

I do not know exactly where they are built, but the Field Series are much like the Tanfoglio 1911 pistols. I suppose they are coming from the same origin which I do not know as I stated before.
