I know that with scopes (as with most things), you get what you pay for. Right now, however, I need to replace a Simmons scope that won't hold zero, and in the short term I can't afford to pay for something along the lines of Leupold or Zeiss. That's the long-term plan, but right now I need something cheap, dependable and useable even if the optics aren't of the quality of the better scopes.
Having said that, I noticed in the latest Bass Pro Shops circular that they have a Redhead Scope (3-9X40) and 10X25 compact binoculars combo for $39.88. Does anyone have any experience with the Redhead line of scopes, maybe even knowing who makes them for BPS?
