A S&W in .45 Colt would be a Model 25-5 (or a 25-3 if it was the 125th Anniversary one.) IIRC the 25-5 has a slightly longer cylinder.

That's right, was just posting what they had listed. It was a 25-5 with an 8" barrel. Went for 475 dollars, a little much for the gun and the shape it was in.

The M58 was BEAT UP, bluing gone, corroded around the trigger guard, would have made a good project gun, but it went for 250 dollars, again what I thought was to much.

The nickle python with the 6 inch tube, by far the best python in the bunch, went for 775 dollars. A fair price for a good gun.

All I was able to end up with was a ring for my wife, at a great discount, and a Colt Delta Elite for 500 dollars.

So, I was happy, the wife was happy and the auctioneer was happy. All in all, a good night.
