I have a NAA .22 Mag I bought when I turned 21, 30 years ago. Love it. carry it often. The new NAA PUG (http://www.naaminis.com/pug.html) is interesting.

Thought about getting the NAA 22 Magnum for a pocket pistol, but the fact that you have to cock the hammer each round kind of dissuaded me. If I have to use it, I don't want to be standing there pulling the hammer back for each shot...especially the first one.

I have a NAA mini convertable, so it swaps out cylinders. i carry it everyday and it is in my pocket right now. I consider it a last ditch device at best. Better than a rock and for when things are way out of controll.
Some people, but not me like shooting these tiny guns. I mean for target practice. that isn't close to why I have one, and I hope to never shoot it since i proofed it.
Using it for what I have in mind means whom ever is going to get a nasty burn as well as be shot.
I have owned a hunting /target long gun since I was 6, and am 57 now.
The poly tics that be, so called authorities are directly responsible for my carrying a fire arm for SD. Untill the need came in the mid 80's or so I had no sort of gun as a SD gun what so ever and didn't want one.
I just wish I could say the same thing now, but I never will again after certain events in my past have left me wanting..
If you like target shooting pistols at 15 feet, the Black Widow should be a good gun. NAA has it's own site if you did a bit on their link, and I play over there too.

My standard daily carry, in 22 mag. Easy fit in right front pocket, don't hardly know it is there, even in shorts and tshirt.
22 mag is a whole 'nuther world away from 22lr. Fully jacketed set bullet gives higher velocity and much better penetration than anything you'll get in 22lr.
Think "noisy cricket".

I LIKE the 'Widow.I had the .22lr NAA,and found it to be accurate [!] and reliable. It being single action bothered me not at all, since my first handgun ever, thirty six years agowas a singal action cap 'n' ball Navy Sheriff's model.I rack back the hammer on ALL my sixguns, including my DA Taurus and my 1917 S&W DA revolver.Shooting double action with a revolver just isn't as accurate for me.Plus,it's actually SLOWER since I have to tell myself NOT to rack the hammer.

I'd like one of these for my backup bug.
The Black Widow or the PUG should work well for that.

How about you just buy a small auto in 380 or 9mm or a J frame S&W. 357 Derringer isn't pleasent to shoot I found 38spl derringer a pain Why have only 2 shots when you can have more in about same size package.
I gave my NAA to wife and went back to my Kel Tec or Colt mustang. She carries a Kel Tec but thought the NAA was cute.

I would really like a Black Widow as a BUG to my regular carry piece. Just because they are cool.

I've thought about an NAA pocket derringer, but only because of the knife-clip style handle you can get for it... Would be nice to know I have a BUG clipped to my pocket :)

Zomb,
The .22 mag version with the folder handle is actually alot bigger than you'd expect. My wife got it for me for xmas and it is mildy dissappointing how big it is.
The up side though is, the handle makes it like hold a nearly "full size" snub, which makes it alot easier to shoot well.
