Ruger Pre Mark 1

Help! I have a Ruger pre-Mark 1 pistol, that I am having difficulty reassembling. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The main spring housing pin will not realign with the receiver of the gun. The bolt is out of the gun but the main spring housing pin is caught in the lower hole of the receiver. Because this is pre-mark 1, I can not find any instructions online.

Same as MK-1, I also have a standard model and I use the instructions from the web for a MK-1.

it seems the receiver was not aligned with the grip frame. A little persuasion from a rubber mallet got those pieces realigned, but the pin/mainspring housing will not go far enough into the receiver for the hook to grab :confused:. This is a friend's grandfather's pistol so I am kinda bummed we can't get it together.

some light tapping from a sledge and its back together. Seems the safety was the problem
