Is it ok to leave a gun in your car when it is cold out (eg 0 degrees or so)?

I do, and it never complains.
It does get cold, though.

minnesota member here, its ok to have gun in cold storage but because of changing temperatures you should periodically clean or at least wipe it down and oil.

Another Minnesotan here, if my firearms can't handle that, I don't want them.
Just re-warm them as slowly as you can and keep them cased untill they fully warm whenever possible.
I just got back from shooting in Wisconsin (layed off) and I'm not going to do anything to my Sig, but my Thompson Center G2 will get an oily wipe down after it warms up.

No, and as soon as you get in your vehicle immediately put the handgun in your IWB holster. That should warm it up nicely.
