I bought a box with new ammo and reloading stuff in it at an auction and need some info. In the box there were 50 loaded rds., the cases are marked---IHMSA---375 SM. I did a search on the www and found nothing. These could be factory loads or reloads as both types were in the box. Does anyone have any information on these 375 SM loads? Thanks

The .375 SuperMag was an Elgin Gates designed revolver cartridge once made for the handgun Silhouette shooting sport.
It is a .375 Winchester rifle case cut-down to 1.610" length. Dan Wesson made at least a few hundred revolvers chambered for it.
Don't have a clue about the IHMGA head-stamp, except it might have something to do with http://www.ihmsa.org/.
You sure the G isn't an S?

rcmodel yes it is a S and I changed it above. At first these were described as a Short Magnum. Of course there is no way they could be that. Are the Dan Wesson revolvers still being manufactured?

T/C also chambered bull barrels in the caliber.
