I am not sure.

What do you think?

I'm guessing it's bad news.

New taxes on gun and ammo sales could go up which results in more Pittman-Robertson money for Hunting.....or.....new taxes will be so high on guns and ammo that it stifles the industry and Pittman-Robertson money dries up.

Over taxing the ammo and guns will cause prices to skyrocket, then the DNR's will have a tough time getting new people into hunting which will result in fewer licenses and revenues.

Doesn't look good, higher prices will make it a rich mans sport, entry level participants will suffer.

Unless you're someone that feels the need to hunt deer with a 30 round magazine, probably nothing. I believe there will be more important items on his immediate agenda.

The Feds' focus is on the EBR stuff. And, certain ammo. By and large, the wildlife agencies will lobby for us, as any Bad Stuff would affect their budgets. Messing with a bureaucrat's budget is about like messing with some mother's child.

Enough politics...
