Being primarly a revolver person, I don't have a lot of autos, a CZ52, and my daily carry, a Para P-14. My wife also has a Ruger P90, but it is gathering a lot of dust ever since I got her a Ruger GP100.
Tonight at the auction I went to get a couple of S&W's, but they rapidly went past what I was willing to bid, the same with a beautiful nickle Python.
So, there I was, down to the last purchase i was interested in, the auctioneers running out of time, and me running out of patience.
I had already been outbid, or felt the bidding was going to high on the S&W 25-5, the S&W model 58, the Nickle Python with the 6 inch tube, a Nylon 66 semiauto, and a strange little Italian M16 look alike in 22LR.
So towards the end, it was bring up the guns you are interested in. I lucked out because someone picked up the one I was eying after all the others slipped away.
The bidding started at 300 dollars and shot up to 450 in the blink of an eye. I had already set my limit, some one bid 475, and I went to my limit of 500 dollars. Luckily, no one was willing to top that.
So now, I am the owner of yet another caliber, 10mm.
Yes, I scored on a pristine Colt Delta Elite, what I am sure is destined to be my new carry gun as soon as I can get a few extra mags for it, and wring it out.
So I now have a single stack for carry and fun. I may have to spend more time in this forum now!!
