There have been a number of threads recently that involve things like,

This guy on gunbroker.com is selling his gun for an insane price. He's driving up the cost of everything and is evil.
or
People are praying for the return of the AWB so they can turn a profit.
or
People who are paying the jacked up price are stupid and are only causing the increased prices to remain high.

So how many people really think this is true?

IMO, welcome to capitalism. The market determines the price and if you can't or don't want to pay that price, stop being a baby about it and stop your tantrum. :cuss:

If I'm selling, it's Capitalism. If I'm buying, it's evil profiteering, and lets not leave out the words greed or avarice in there somewhere.

A thing is worth what a willing buyer will offer and a willing seller accept. If the seller asks a high price, and the buyer pays it, they have mutually agreed the price is fair -- no matter how much grumbling the buyer may indulge in.

If you think the price of something is too high, there is a simple remedy -- don't buy it!

The last thing we need is another thread on this, particularly one with such leading poll questions.
