Who out there makes a good watertight long gun case? After a recent hunting trip, during which it poured, I decided that I need a new case, preferably a 2-gun. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

A water-tight case might not be a good idea without a serious dessicant. Any moisture trapped in the case for a legnthy period of storage could result in rust.
For the mean time, go to your local gun store and ask for one of those clear plastic rifle bags. Get some dessicant and stick it in there, then your rifle. Seal it (a GOOD rubber band should do nicely), and put it in your normal case.
*Please be advised that I came up with this good-sounding idea about 3 seconds ago, so YMMV.

Isn't the Browning travel vault airtight? It's got a pressure release valve. Kinda pricey at $150-200 though.

If its got a bleed valve, take it down to your local dive shop, and have them flush it and seal it with N2
Nothing says tactical like a nitrogen filled rifle case :neener:
Call Precision Arms in Escondido, CA for good prices on 1750s. They've got OD and black. 760.489.1212

the browning travel vaults and pelican are essentially the same.
the pelican listed above is perfect for rifles and you can get more foam and cut out the size to fit your rifles. might be a tight fit for 2 scoped rifles. ive seen it used for a MBR with plenty of mag / accesory space left over
pelican=almost indestructable. ive seen them driven over by a truck and the keep on ticking. use dessicant as previously advised
get a pack of 4 same keyed padlocks for it as well

One advantage of the Pelican is that if you manage, somehow, to destroy it, they will replace it regardless of the circumstances. Pelican also sells reusable dessicant.

I'm pretty sure Pelican private labels for Browning. In any case, Browning, Pelican, and Starlight are, IMO, the top of the line in protection against serious physical abuse and moisture (and pressure). They are a bit pricey, however, but you get the best.
If you want something a little less durable (still rigid though) but still water tight (with pressure relief), look at Gun Guard's (Doskocil) All Weather line.
The two scoped rifle case come with an end folding handle and wheels as standard now (along with the side folding handle). Foam is easily cutable. ~$80-$90.

Starlite cases are coming to Sam's club the middle of October.
Prices should be more reasonable.
