Ring size for 50mm on stevens 200.

Hello all,

Ive done some research about ring sizes for the stevens 200 in .223 but havnt come to a clear answer yet.

Id like to use burris weaver style bases (or leupold) with burris signature zee rings with a 6.5-20x50mm simmons whitetail scope on the stevens. I havent been able to determine if i need the "high" rings or the "medium" ones. I dont have the gun yet, so i cant get an idea yet.

the rings on my stevens .243 m200 keep my scope pretty low (came with the rifle) and i have ample clearence for my bolt, but i am looking for a good cheak rest. i bought a bipod in a hurry on line, but it's a barrel mount and thats not good for a free floating barrel, but the nylon stock dosent seem dependable for a stock mounted one, guess ill stick to a shooting stick.....
