for anyone who owns one... can you check? ...or perhaps for anyone who already knows the answer...

the typical M9/doublestack mag pouch... will it fit two single stack 1911 mags? without being too too too tight?

Which MOLLE mag pouch are you referring to? There are about a dozen different ones made by different manufacturers.

I wouldn't recommend carrying magazines in a pouch that wasn't designed to hold them, but to each his own.
