Enfield Stock Question

Hello again.

I am toying with the idea of getting a used forestock for an Enfield no1 MkIII with the intent to cut it down, sporter style. I know I could get a synthetic stock, but I prefer the adaptability (I can shave it down, ect...) of wood, not to mention the fact that I can get a used forestock much cheaper than a synthetic stock set.

So my questions are thus:
1) Where can I find one cheap?

2) Are ALL no1 MkIII stocks created equal? (I have an Aussie one made in 1944)

3) Have any of you performed this act that could give me opinions/ advice?

Thanks Again.

I also recommend Marstar. good service, selection and the American dollar is strong up there.
