Don't know first hand the person but he said he had a kaboom in his Glock 32 with this ammo.He said Remington admitted it was the ammo's fault. He said several rounds he inspected later were set back in the case and some would move back in the case with finger pressure. He said he thought the Glock absorbed the rcoil well and it would have blown any other gun too.I for one am going to stay away from remington ammo.

I've reloaded thousands of .40 S&W for my Glock 24P and I quickly learned to throw out Rem brass. It's thinner at the top and doesn't crimp the same as any other brand and is a weaker grip once it is crimped. I've never had this problem with their other brass but due to my bad experiances with the .40 S&W I now avoid all their brass and loaded ammo like the plauge.

I've found Winchester, Eldarado/PMC, and Speer to be my favorites. Speer is my 1st choice for progressive loading due to their radiused primer pockets that are very forgiving on primer seating. Same effect can be had chamfering the primer pockets on other brass but the Speer is much less work ;)

The worst ammo I've ever used was UMC .45ACP. Ick, never again.

Hmmmm........I've been using Remington brass......forever.......use it in every caliber I reload, .380, 9mm, .357mag, .44mag, .45acp and .30/06. I think all of the 9mm and .45acp brass is from UMC.

In my reloading experience (10+ years).....Remington is the only brass I'll use

After my experience with Remington 38Spcl and 357Magnum not to mention assorted 40 Smith Wesson brass I have completly sworn off the Remington bandwagon. I have replaced all the brass with Winchester or CBC(Magtech) brand brass. I only have some 357 magnum brass which will be replaced once I find it on sale. I've had problems with once fired and brand new brass, including necks cracking bulging cases etc.............. For my money Remington is out.
