I was looking for a set of 40 S&W dies for my SDB. I found a complete press with 40 dies, so I bid on it. $200 later I won. I am still in shock. Looks like it is all there. I will see how well it works when it arrives. The good thing is if anything is wrong Dillon will make it right.

A few months ago I stopped by a neighbor's yard sale, this was a major move for me as I hate yard sales. Lo and behold, here's a mint SDB in .45 ACP for $75.00. Being a cheap SOB I offered him $50.00 and he accepted. A couple of weeks later he stopped by my house and gave me two conversion kits, I offered to pay him for the kits and he refused. Since I already have a SDB in .45 ACP this press will be converted to 10mm.

Too bad about the SDB, they don't get the credit they're due IMO. I've loaded several thousand rounds on SDBs and can't say enough good about them.

Isn't that press something like $350?

You just gave money to Sarah Brady and her gang. E-bay is run by people who don't think you should be allowed to own any firearm and they financially support The Brady Bunch.

I stopped doing business with them when they banned brass, bullets, Mags and shotgun barrel sales.

My company is one that was severely impacted back in August of '07 when they banned the sale of bullets. We moved to Gunbroker and continued to build our web-based sales to the point that we're having trouble keeping up with demand, even with three sets of Magma engineering casters and sizers. But recently we decided to stick a thumb in eBay's eye with this auction that you might enjoy (2nd paragraph) -

Brad,
Not only do you have a good product (your bullets) but now you have a good thumb too.

Well done Sir, I like it!!

Wow did this thread take a dive. Just be happy for me. I can now load 40 quickly instead of on at a time.

I would venture to say that unless you hole up in a shed somewhere out in B F Egypt, every week you patronize some company that does not share your ideology.

tbtrout,
I don't thin anyone here is unhappy for you. You found a good deal, way to go. We just have a problem with Ebay because they attacked the shooting public with their off the wall anti-2A new rules.

You are right with Ebay, I stopped doing biddding with them for a while but found the sellers are more reputable then on Gunbroker. I had 3 transactions on Gunbroker and each one was more of a PIA than any experience on E bay. So I keep checking for reloading equipment and have found some really good deals.

Hey, if the ebayers and Sarah Brady is goofy enough to sell me reloading stuff at minimum price then I'm smart enough to take it from them. I give NRA more money than ebay.
