Hello Historian, This my first post here at this forum. Try Southwest Ammo in Mesquite for your small rifle primers. They are located in Downtown Mesquite at the old square. Great Folks. :cool:

Thanks xring...that was the first place I tried. Also tried B&S guns, McClellands, and The Bullet Trap. Went online to Midway and Cabellas even though I really hate paying the hazmat fee. They were both sold out. Looks like there's been a run on these primers. I'm guessing that it's due to those folks who are reloading for ARs

I tried the last Misquite gun show, and they were not to be found.

All other sizes, but no small rifle of any brand.

I bought 1000 Winchester small rifle primers at the gun show yesterday at the Mesquite Rodeo Center.
I thought Southwest had some CCI small rifle primers there.

I want to say that Cabela's carries CCI and Bass Pro carries Winchester. You'll pay a few bucks more at either if they have them. I've been getting mine at the gun shows and haven't had trouble finding Winchesters.

had some this week. All I saw in small rifle at the Mesquite Gun Show were some magtechs at the Southwest booth. They were out at thier store also Sat afternoon.
