40 S&W carry ammo Federal/Mag-tech

I recently purchased several hundred rounds of Federal XM40HB from Cabellas as it was on sale for $24/50. It was advertised as LE ammo. I am not sure which bullet it is loaded with but it is an impressive looking hollow point. I also bought a hundred rounds of Mag-tech Gold and it has a cavernous hollow point. If any of you have any experience with either of these two rounds or know where I can find test results for 40 S&W ammo, I would appreciate hearing about it.

The XM40HB is the HST bullet in 155 and 135 grain variations. Federal made a lot of ammunition using the HST bullet, but named it differently to suit different LE departments. The HST bullet is top of the line!
