Okay - Some of you folks _think_ I'm certifiable, but hey, I think it's time to make it official...

So, how does one go about getting certified as an NRA safety instructor, etc?

You have to find an NRA Training Counselor in your area and take the class. Visit www.nrahq.org for a list of training counselors in your area.
You must find a COUNSELOR, not an INSTRUCTOR. Only counselors can train instructors.

When I got my pistol cert. in 1978, I found a local counselor in the NRA magazine. Now with the `net, it should be a piece of cake.

I just did it. PM me for details. Took about 20 hours of class-time. Going back next month for the Personal Protection Instructor Class.
