does anyone know of a place that i can get a good hip holster (right handed)preferably leather with a thumb break for a taurus judge with 3 inch CHAMBER and 3 inch barrel?

also looking for a good small of the back holster for the same firearm again right hand draw

i did a search on here and a few other places including web searches and came up with very little description on most products almost everything i found said 3 inch judge but im almost possative they mean just the barrel

i want something that fits not just something that will work

Simply Rugged will build you one, Blackhawk is coming out with one, that is what my local gun shop told me this weekend.

That model =just= became available, so it's going to take a while for the holster guys to catch up. It's still not easy to find a holster for the 2.5" chamber judge.

In the mean time, an Uncle Mikes sidekick, size 3, should be a cheap generic solution until something specific comes along.

Enjoy your Judge .... and don't buy any Sellier & Beloitt (sp?) buckshot for it. It has a slight bulge at the crimp and will not chamber in the Judge. Have had no such problems with Winchester.

Galco makes a D.A.O. model for the 3" Judge but it's not a thumb break.

thanks guys the DOA is refering to the barrel contacted them about it and they said it will not fit the 3 inch chamber i was heavily debating a simply rugged his prices are about right and rob said the turn around time wouldnt have me pulling my hair out waiting
as far as i understood it blackhawk makes a SERPA for the 2.5 inch but hasnt for the 3 inch yet and from the letters recieved by others they dont plan on it any time soon

thanks for the heads up on the SB ammo i heard it a few times and figured id just go another route anyway this is just a fun gun for me so i plan on mainly cowboy 45 loads and birdshot i have the mossberg for two legged preditors

Go to www.littlebearholsters.com and look around. He made me one and did a great job. He also made me a belt with 5 loops for shells. There is a picture in his web sit of them if you want to take a look at it.
