1,000 rounds for my birthday

Had the day off, turned 58 today. Lousy weather. Set up the LnL and cranked out 1,000 .45 ACP 155 gr lead swc over 5.1 gr Clays. My good .45s are away getting an Ion Bond treatment, so wanted to get a few thousand on the shelf for their return and some warmer weather.

Last weekend I loaded up 500 223, 55 gr fmj over 25.5 Varget. I've been loading 223 and 204 varmint rounds. Just ran out of small rifle primers and none to be found local. Oh well, I've never shot 2,000 rifle rounds in a year before. 2,000 pistol rounds in a month is possible.

Some of you guys have all the luck. I bought my wife a .357 Ruger SP101 for Christmas. Before that was her birthday. Got her a 30" table saw and nail guns. Last Valintine day I bought her a Bursa .380 in black. Yesterday was my birthday. And, i've been stairing at my large wrapped gift for about a week. AR, no, shootgun, no, new reloader, no. Look at what she got me...

You do know the only way to get what you want is to buy it for yourself...

From a Special person:D

Then when you open it: "Just what I always wanted"

Kiss the other half and say thanks honey.

No birthday for me but the weather is crappy here to, so I'll be reloading some 9mm and .40, don't think I'll come near 1000 on my single stage RCBS, but I'll try.

Yep, that is fantastic way to celebrate the B-Day. I do the same on mine no matter what the day of the week it falls on. Just turned 50 biologically but still remain stuck in the 30's! Also scored 5000 small rifle primers today and will buy 5000 more tomorrow, your B-Day seems to be lucky for me too.

Too bad you're not local, have a box of Winchester small rifle primers, 700 of them, and nothing to use them in.
Happy birthday!
