So, when will we get the Walther P99's in subcompact and .45 form? I hope they will be available to us over here!:)

We can expect the P99 Compact in 2004, but we may never see one in .45 Auto. :(

Ken, you have your ear to the ground more than most of us P99'rs. Why do suggest we may not get the .45? I'd assumed they'd build it if the SW version sold well.

Actually, we should feel lucky that the .40 Auto version exists (which makes a suitable platform for .357 Sig). For every .40 Auto P99 that is sold, four 9mm ones are sold.
