My AR-15 is ejecting to the 1 o'clcock position like the M-1. It is an Armalite National Match that is squeky clean and has less than 1,000 rounds through it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Nothing wrong with it ejecting there, as it keeps your brass from disturbing your neighbor. If you do want to have it eject at 4 o'clock, remove and inspect/replace the ejector and ejector spring.
In order to do this:
Place an empty case uder the extractor and rock the case into the bolt head so that it depresses the ejector. Ensure that it moves freely and the ejector extends to the bolt head or just below.
Depress the ejector, tap the pin out with an appropriately sized punch, and slowly release the ejector to prevent it from hitting the adjacent wall. inspect the pin and spring, and the hole they came from. Look for burrs or dirt/debris. Replace the ejector pin and spring with a quality part (DPMS sells good parts in kits) and reassemble. You will have to depress the ejector to get the retention pin back in.

AR-15 Ejecting Like M-1 That sounds like a good thing to me.
Or, do what Steve said.

My two do that to but that's because I cut two coils off of the ejector springs. It completely stopped any jams that I would get where there would be a live round and an empty case both in the upper receiver.
I read how to do this on Brad Brownes web site http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/coffee/index.htm
look under AR15/C7 under ejection

Don't worry unless it starts spitting the empty mag out of the ejection port.
