Model 97 Magazine Disassembly?

I have a Winchester Model 97, takedown model and I can't figure out how to remove the magazine plug. I removed the 2 screws, but I am not sure how to get the pin out. I really don't want to damage anything, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The pin has a spring loaded detent, hold it in and push the pin out and watch for the Magazine spring to jump out. Pay attention as you remove the pin and put it back in the same way. You do not have to break the gun down to do this.
