Following up on the thread about .45 Super conversions, where is the best place to find .45 Super / 450 SMC ammo?

Buffalo Bore (http://www.buffalobore.com) makes the stuff, as does Triton and Texas Ammunition.

Triton went belly up. Far as I know, 450SMC is dead. Starline was making brass, but I don't see it listed on their web site anymore. Here's a link for Texas Ammo. http://www.texas-ammo.com

http://www.tritonammo.com/  their phone says "precision ammo"
when I call. I remember posting on their forums and now it just gives a dead link...

Maybe they're back? Their website has been down for a looong time. Cheaper Than Dirt has been selling Triton ammo, stating that they bought it in "remaining lots."

Triton essentially closed it's doors around August 2002. Around January 2003 they sold their remaining inventory to a couple Dealers, one in FL which got the majority of the 9mm, 40 S&W, and .45 ACP and one in WV which got the remaining calibers (40 Super, 450 SMC, 375 Sig, etc)
The Dealer in FL then turned around and blew out the majority of his purchase to CTD.
The owners then sold (entered in agreement?) all the remaining assets of Triton to a FL based company named Precision Ammunition. Precision Ammo was in the process of moving their facility to a larger on in (IIRC) Tampa. I have yet to see any new production Quik-Shok nor Hi-Vel.

I would talk to someone like Tim Grey. He posts here sometimes I think, as weshoot2 maybe. His price isn't likely to be $15/50, but I don't think he charge what Buffalo Bore does. You'd really have to ask him.

I closely tracked the evolution of .450 SMC. Starline never offered .450 SMC brass; but does sell .45 Super brass.
Starline also stopped stocking .40 Super brass.
